The title says it all. Renowned apres spot in Meribel, 'The Rond Point', threw another of it's huge festivals last week, and asked me along to capture the madness. As always, there was seriously good music, insane views and atmosphere, and a sea of VERY HAPPY PARTY PEOPLE. Flick through these photos and look for your faces.. You beauteous creatures :)

I did not stop smiling from behind my camera last week.
Every day of the five day festival, had an incredible atmosphere, that was literally buzzing from smile to smile across the terrace. The Ronnie is an aprés favourite with seasonnaires and punters alike, and the perfect place to drop in and out, on a day's riding. Not this week though, people poured in from the piste and never left.
I took so many photos though, that the weeks events are divided into two parts. Part 1 will recount Monday-Wednesday, and Part 2 tomorrow will share Thursday-Friday. I obviously couldnt share ALL the photographs I took here, so be sure to keep an eye on The Rond Point Facebook page for future shares.
Awesome four piece band Marivaux kicked off the festival on Monday afternoon, to a terrace swimming in gorgeous sunshine. Bring your Sisters followed shortly after, on the main stage, with their usual crowd pleasing madness; and you'll be pleased to hear that the BYS strip tradition was upheld beautifully. You irresistible boys you.
After Mike Hayward warmed up the terrace, DJ Wonka set the tone for the party on the main stage with flawless track selection. Then The High Jives got the terrace swinging and rocking, with their brilliantly original takes on party classics. You guys were awesome.
Well after the disappointment that Norman Jay wouldn't be making his usual annual visit, Bubble & Crisp stepped up. And boy did they deliver. Their Wednesday apres' here at The Ronnie, have become renowned in Meribel, but given the extended time slot, they really showed what they can do.
Come back tomorrow people, and check out how the festival closed with an almighty BANGER of a Friday, with Craig Charles. You won't want to miss those photos...
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I am one lucky monkey to live this wonderful Winter life in the alps. Thanks to everyone involved at 'The Ronnie Loves Music Festival' for making so many people so bloody happy!
