So we return today with the second instalment of The Ronnie Loves Music Festival's photo diary, with Thursday and Friday. And what a last two days it was. The bands continued to raise the bar with incredible sets, followed with what must have been a record Friday closer with Craig Charles. It's hard to shoot when you can't stop dancing, but I found a way ;)

This day was filled with bands, bands bands bands. Kicking off with Daisy B (flanked by Tom and Al Jones) taking their always delicious sets out onto the main stage on the terrace. The Dominos then stomped out their usual party madness on the terrace floor, with what can only be described as a tower of people on tables and chairs, dancing and having toffee vodka poured down their faces. Then The Sunset Sons made an awesome return to Meribel, but rather than re-living their cover-band days, they played a insane set of amazing original material. It was easy to see why these boys have come so far.
Where to begin? Well, we started off with Ze Funkin English boys, who warmed up the crowd with an irresistible mix of funk, soul and hiphop classics. Even Craig Charles had to admit they had gotten things so hot, he had to take it back a peg.. But wow, does Craig Charles have INCREDIBLE taste in music?! And I'm not even getting to how energetic and dynamic the man is on stage, and with the crowd; he performed his music choices with such enthusiasm it was easy to see how the crowd was whipped up into such a mad frenzy. less and people and drinks flying across the sea of people which bobbed and throbbed. What a way to close an insane week.
Major thanks, as always, to everyone involved in making The Ronnie Loves Music Festival happen. You put on an incredible event for everyone, punters and locals alike. Awesome work!
